American-Ukrainian Anti-corruption Council

The Russian war against Ukraine has led to numerous casualties, both among the military and civilian populations of Ukraine, which has been heroically fighting against its aggressor for more than six months. Undoubtedly, the Ukrainian people are fighting for their own freedom and independence, but at the same time, by their struggle, they are protecting Eastern Europe from a future possible attack by an aggressive eastern neighbor. As a matter of fact, Ukraine is currently a fuse for the escalation of the current military conflict into a third-world war.

This is understood by the West, led by the United States, who put together a reliable coalition against the aggressor. Most countries support Ukraine with weapons, loans, and donations.

The American-Eastern European Council, a non-profit organization headquartered in California, which was established in 1994, has been aiding the Ukrainian military in various forms since the early days of Russia's aggression.

The independent state of Ukraine was formed in 1991 against the backdrop of the collapse of the USSR. Among the 15 states that emerged from the ruins of the Soviet Union, Ukraine occupies a special place in terms of the development of democracy in the region. On the one hand, this country has one of the highest levels of democracy among the former Soviet republics, and on the other hand, this country is corrupted from top to bottom. In particular, the deep penetration of Russian corruption into Ukraine has become one of the most effective tools by which Ukrainian society was being destroyed from within and by which the Kremlin managed to create a loyal network of collaborators there. Thus, the elimination of corruption in Ukraine today is the most important mission, along with the restoration of borders as of 1991 and the restoration of the economy.
